Using Auto Hide

The Auto Hide option of the properties pane can be used to automatically collapse the properties pane when the pointer moves outside the pane. This makes more of the window available for working in the document list pane. You can quickly display the properties pane by simply moving the pointer into the properties tab row, and the pane will automatically expand to its full size.

To use the Auto Hide option:

1. Click the Auto Hide (unpinned) button in the properties pane to enable Auto Hide.
2. Move the pointer outside the properties pane. The pane collapses to a row of tabs.
3. Move the pointer inside the row of tabs. The pane expands to its original size.
4. Click the Auto Hide (pinned) button to disable Auto Hide.
